Your team has AI. But are they still thinking?
How leaders can protect human judgement, original thinking and competitive edge in the age of AI
Your organisation’s advantage will not come from having AI. Your competitors have access to the same tools. The real advantage will come from leaders who know how to keep their people thinking.
AI makes thinking for ourselves harder and more important. It can deliver a polished answer before we’ve properly explored the problem. When the first response goes unchallenged, teams stop questioning assumptions, ideas begin to converge, and we may move faster without necessarily moving forward.
This creates a new challenge for leaders. Your job is not simply to encourage AI adoption. It is to create the conditions in which people keep questioning, imagining, challenging and thinking for themselves.
Join this practical GIBS masterclass to explore how to lead for creative thinking in the age of AI. In 60 minutes, you will:
- Recognise the warning signs that your team may be outsourcing too much of its thinking to AI
- Understand how your own creative thinking preferences shape the way you lead thinking in others, including what you may inadvertently overlook
- Practise a practical technique to help your team challenge assumptions, widen possibilities and sharpen judgement when working with AI
