L.E.A.D. PROGRAMME 

Building Merchant Capital leaders

Format: In-person and online


Duration: 4 months


Time:  8 x half day workshops + 4 coaching sessions + action learning project


Themes: leading self and others, interpersonal skills, managing teams, solving problems


 

Course Outcomes

  • Develop the management team into great leaders – in their current roles and potential future roles
  • Help them manage and lead starting with self-insight, while growing interpersonal competencies and the ability to work with each other across divisions to solve problems and grow the business
  • Equip managers to communicate upwards with impact and with well thought out ideas and business cases
  • Train managers to manage teams effectively

Individual work: light individual work will arise from each session, primarily involving application and reflection; participants will be required to check in with a programme buddy and also feed back at the next session on their progress.

Group Coaching Sessions: there will be 2 x 90 minutes group coaching sessions after the last workshop; this encourages reflection on learning, allows for group exploration, call for personal application examples and provides accountability for actions taken.

Nina Pearse

LEARNING IMAGINEER, FACILITATOR,  AGILE PEOPLE CONSULTANT

Nina Pearse is a dynamic and creative facilitator with a vision to transform business and society by helping people tap into their creativity. Nina has an honours degree in business science from the University of Cape Town and is an adjunct faculty member at GIBS Business School. She is an Agile Talent professional, an associate of the NeuroLeadership Institute and a qualified Insights facilitator. Nina has worked in learning and change related roles for nearly twenty years as a management consultant, human resources specialist and leadership practitioner. She has delivered training on five continents over the past two decades.

Nicole Ramjee

Nicole's focus is to co-create sustainable high-performance cultures by equipping leaders and teams with the necessary tools and skills to navigate and lead through constant and complex change. She takes a holistic, human centric approach across the full eco-system of the organisation that talks to the business model, business processes, people and technology to ensure sustainable and ongoing change. Nicole is a registered HR Professional with the SABPP and an Internationally Certified Coach. Nicole's passion is growing people and growing business. She provides coaching to employees and managers to help them realise their potential as well as coaching to SMME's to help them grow their business.
