"This experience was completely different to the typical training that we would attend in a law firm environment and that in itself was exciting and different. I came away with something that enriched me as an individual as well as advancing the cause of innovation and creativity within the firm.

Nina understood and got to grips with the law firm context and the market in which we are operating. She speaks very authoritatively about innovation more broadly. It’s also interesting to hear about how other organisations and sectors innovate, which is important to us as because our clients are innovating all the time as their business environment changes and I think that they expect us, as their lawyers, to do the same."

Nqobile Sibisi

Client Coverage Analyst, Standard Bank

“I thoroughly enjoyed the programme. I think it was insightful and creative. It got me out of my comfort zone; got me to think; got me to chat with the people in my team and collaborate with them. I learned how to brainstorm ideas and shoot down some of my own insecurities and break through that glass ceiling that I’ve created for myself."

Mbhoni Maluleke

Client Analyst, Standard Bank

“The course was very, very informative. It was an eye-opener. For one, I didn’t believe or knew that everyone can be innovative, anyone had a role to play in the innovation world. I thought it was all about the ideators. It was very interesting to learn that there are different roles one can play.

The three days were amazing. Everything worked our perfectly. The activities we did helped to stimulate us.  You taught us and then gave us time to actually apply what we learned in that session. It helped because it was still fresh in our heads and we could take those lessons and apply them right away."

Le-Juan Beukes

Head of Sales Fulfilment, Merchant Capital

“The workshop was incredible. I had a session with Nina before the training and mentioned what I wanted to get out of this. It was a tall order and it was delivered tenfold. The training was incredibly helpful to the team… Nina as a facilitator was able to encapsulate everything that we wanted to achieve as a management team for the sales team and that’s incredibly powerful."

Alfred Ruwanda

Acquisition Manager, Merchant Capital

“We’ve just had a lovely session with Nina from Creativity Wake-Up. It’s all about understanding the different personalities within the work environment. I found this very insightful. You learn about how people perceive you, how you want to be perceived and the actual reality. It’s definitely a nice way of understanding certain individuals with different leading colours as to how to communicate with them and how to present to them. This is certainly something I can use daily, in my work life and also in my personal life. It was very insightful. Definitely a session worth booking with Nina at Creativity Wake-Up.”

Creative Thinking for Results Programme

This programme comprised of two full-day, in-person workshops spaced over two months followed by a three-month online Growth Programme. Over 60 participants, including all staff members from EberVet clinics and stores, took part in this transformative initiative.

Seven months after the completion of our programme with the  Ebervet Group, we had an an interview with with  Ann Baret Ann is CEO of Team Dynamics Consulting and a business consultant and coach for the EberVet Group.

Ann said, "In all my years of working as a business consultant, I have never seen a programme have such a positive and profound impact on an organisation. We were anticipating the business growth following the programme. We did not anticipate the positive mindset shifts and the way the teams are operating in a more interconnected way."

"The biggest change has been seen at the clinic in the Strand. Before the Creative Thinking Programme, the Strand Clinic was the least profitable clinic in the group. Its primary role was to support the EberVet outreach arm, which runs sterilization and education projects in disadvantaged communities.

Seven months after the Creative Thinking programme, the Strand Clinic has grown to one of our most profitable clinics. Inspired and equipped by the programme, they developed a new stategy and used creative problem solving to address key issues. They have now employed four new vets. By growing their paid client base, they have expanded their outreach projects as well. The clinic has done a complete about-turn and they no longer consider themselves to be ‘the poor cousins'."
